Honeycomb is the best, especially when it’s drizzled with chocolate and sprinkled with chopped nuts. We are going the extra mile with these and making them very giftable. Or you can just keep them all to yourself.
Heat the golden syrup, sugar and water in a very large saucepan, stirring occasionally until golden brown. If you have a sugar thermometer, the liquid is ready when it reaches 150° (300°F). If you don’t have a thermometer, drop some of the mixture into cold water – if it hardens quickly and cracks, it is ready; if it is mouldable and bendy, it needs to boil a bit longer.
