I have always wanted to barbecue a whole tofu. There is something about a crispy outer layer with a warm soft middle that is very yummy and satisfying. The tofu lies on top of a bed of charred greens and is married with an epic dressing.

Ingredients

  • 400 g (14 oz) firm tofu (I prefer organic)
  • 4 pak choi (bok choi)

Method

Drain the tofu and pat dry with some paper towel. Make sure you soak up all the liquid and that the tofu is as dry as possible. I sometimes leave the tofu on a paper towel and then turn it over after 30 minutes or so.

Mix all the marinade ingredients together in a bowl, then add the tofu to marinate it whole. Once your barbecue is fired up, baste the tofu with the marinade using a basti
