These are easy to make and will keep for several days in an airtight container; frozen, they’ll last even longer.

Ingredients

  • cups all-purpose flour
  • ¾ teaspoon salt
  • 4 tablespoons

Method

Preheat the oven to 350°F. Sift together the flour and salt. Cream the butter and cheese together in a mixing bowl. Add the dry ingredients, then the nuts, and mix well. Don’t worry if the dough seems too dry; work with it in your hands until it comes together in a ball.
