Method

  1. Put all the ingredients in the bowl of a freestanding electric mixer and attach the paddle. Mix on low speed to combine, then gradually increase the speed to medium and mix for 1 minute. Stop the mixer and use a spatula to scrape down the side and bottom of the bowl. Mix again until the frosting is free of lumps.
  2. Transfer to a piping (icing) bag and use to pipe
