Growing up in the UK, this was my go-to at weekends, and still is whenever I pop back over to visit. You can’t go wrong with crispy, salty and chewy bacon smothered with tangy brown sauce, sandwiched between slices of fresh buttered bread – it’s next level stuff. I’ve added an egg because the alchemy of runny yolk, bacon juices and brown sauce is too good to miss, plus I’ve used some iceberg lettuce for a bit of freshness and crunch.
