This South Indian breakfast snack is simple and delicious: a family favourite in my household. Growing up, I never particularly liked semolina which was typically served in British schools as a sweet dessert, often with a dollop of jam. The Indian version is savoury, super flavoursome and a good way to include vegetables in your diet. I tend to use carrots and fine green beans but other vegetables that need using up will also work well, or you can simply add frozen peas.
