If you want to serve a highly original sweet treat that will elicit gasps and whoops of joy from your guests, then this is the one for you. If you follow my directions to the letter you can’t go wrong. Famous last words, I know! I like to add a little chilli and cinnamon to give it an Indian twist and eat them fresh out the oven with cardamom Chantilly cream (see my pavlova recipe). Simply glorious.
