  • 1 lb. lean pork, finely diced
  • ¾ lb. fat pork, finely diced

Method

Simmer all the ingredients together for 1 hour and allow to cool thoroughly before filling the buns.

If desired, substitute 1 level tablespoon curry powder plus ½ level teaspoon salt plus 1 tablespoon soy sauce for the 4 tablespoons soy sauce to make curried meat filling.
