Method

To make the dough: Put flour in a large mixing bowl. Make a well in the centre and pour in water. Form dough into a ball, and knead it on a lightly floured board for about 10 minutes. This is necessary to obtain a strong, homogeneous dough. Shape the stiff dough into a ball and cut it into quarters. Shape each quarter into a cylindrical roll about 12 inches long.
