  • 5 tablespoons oil
  • 4 level teaspoons ground red pepper (powder)

Method

Heat the oil until quite hot but not smoking. Turn the heat off and wait about 30 seconds. Add red pepper, stir immediately, and allow to stand until cool. Filter the mixture through one thickness of paper napkin.
