  • 2 or 3 cucumbers
  • ½ level teaspoon salt

Method

Peel and core cucumbers. Slice them lengthwise into strips about ⅜ inch wide, and cut them into 2½-inch lengths. Place the strips on a soup plate, and sprinkle with salt. Cover the dish closely, and steam it for about 25 minutes.
