Noodles are usually cooked with other ingredients and eaten as snacks or light meals. This recipe is a basic one for rice noodles and can be adapted to include other types of meat, seafood or vegetables, as you prefer.

Ingredients

  • 250 g/9 oz skinless chicken breasts

Method

  1. Slice the chicken breast into thin strips. If using fresh hor fun, separate the noodles. If they stick together, steam them lightly first. If using dried rice noodle sticks, soak them in boiling water until soft, then drain well.
  2. Heat the oil in a wok and fry the crushed garlic over medium heat until golden brown. Do not let it burn.
