This recipe for delightful biscuits was given to me by a great friend Jennifer Allison, who tells me that it comes from an American cookbook. Her husband has to watch his cholesterol intake so Jennifer successfully substitutes the butter with Flora. I am a ‘butter person’ but her version also works perfectly well.

Ingredients

  • 2 large eggs, room temperature
  • 140 g/5 oz caster sugar

Method

Preheat the oven to 180°C/350°F/gas 4. Line 2 baking sheets with foil, shiny side down or parchment paper.
