If you’ve only ever experienced hot chocolate made with hot milk and cocoa, you’ll die for this chocolate drink made with melted chocolate, milk and cream.
Pour the milk and cream into a saucepan and slowly bring to the boil over low heat. Add the chocolate, cinnamon, peppercorn and sugar, and gently simmer for at least 10 minutes.
The chocolate may be strained and served immediately, but the flavour will improve if it is refrigerated for a few hours or up to 3 days. Reheat through to serve.
