The same principle as the ubiquitous gateau, but in a different form and with a bit more chocolate.

Ingredients

  • 12 eggs, separated
  • 200 g (7 oz) sugar
  • 75

Method

Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F), Gas Mark 4. Grease the baking tins and line with greaseproof paper.

Beat the egg yolks with the sugar until the mixture is pale and frothy. Fold in the cocoa power using a large spoon.
