Rasmalai is a popular dessert all across India, but has its origins in northern India. It is similar in some ways to Roshogolla, but is garnished with nuts and raisins and has the added decadence of a creamy sauce. I like to use a mixture of golden and green raisins if possible, to give the dish a nice pop of color.
