This chutney pairs well with Indian breakfast dishes. I personally find it a great addition to a sandwich, particularly a breakfast egg sandwich. It freezes well and will keep in the refrigerator for up to a week.


  • 3 tablespoons oil
  • 1 large red onion, chopped
  • 6 to 8 plum tomatoes, chopped


  1. Put 2 tablespoons of the oil, the red onion, tomatoes, garlic, salt, sugar, cayenne pepper powder, and 2 tablespoons of water in the Instant Pot®. Close the lid, and set on Manual Pr
