“Garlic mayonnaise” or “garlic spread” does not come close to describing the depth of flavor of this garlic puree. It will make your taste buds stand at attention! Traditionally offered with Grilled Chicken Kebabs, the spread can be enjoyed in many ways. If you are a garlic lover, then prepare yourself for complete satisfaction. It’s great for making garlic bread, as well.
For the Puree
1cupfresh cloves of garlic, peeled and at room temperature
½cup bottled lemon juice from concentrate at room temperature
or:½cup freshly squeezed lemon juice, strained
You can prepare this several days in advance. It should last for weeks in the refrigerator in an airtight container. The intensity may decrease over time, but not the flavor.
