Wandering around the Italian-American neighborhood that is Boston’s North End one June afternoon when the temperature was 98 degrees, I stopped in at Caffè dello Sport. Sitting there in the cool of the café, listening to quiet conversations in Italian, I could have been in any village in southern Italy. I asked if they could make an iced cappuccino. They could and did, and it was the best anywhere. Based on my watching the counterman as I drank two tall ones, here is the recipe.
