Peanut Brittle

  • cups sugar
  • ¼ cup cold water
  • ½ pou

  1. PEANUT BRITTLE: Butter a baking sheet; set aside. Combine the sugar and water in a heavy saucepan over medium heat. Cook, stirring and brushing any sugar crystals from the sides of the saucepan with a brush dipped in cold water, until all of the sugar is dissolved but before the syrup comes to a boil.
