  1. To Make Cranberry-Raspberry Purée: Rinse and pick over cranberries. Combine with sugar in small nonreactive saucepan. Cover and bring to simmer over medium heat. Uncover, increase heat, and cook, stirring occasionally until about three-fourths of the berries are burst, about 5 minutes. Remove from heat.
