  • 14 ounces semisweet or bittersweet chocolate, cut into bits, or white chocolate, very finely chopped

Method

  1. To Make the Dough: Combine 12 ounces of the chocolate with the corn syrup in a small bowl. Stir to moisten the chocolate. For dark chocolate dough, melt in a barely simmering water bath over low heat. Stir frequently to hasten melting. Or microwave on medium (50%) for about 2½–3 minutes. For white chocolate dough, melt in a water bath which has first been brought
