Chilli Avocado on Sourdough Toast

This is lovely – creamy avocado with a kick of hot chilli and some fresh coriander (cilantro) leaves on crisp toast.

Ingredients

  • 1 medium or ½ large avocado, pitted and flesh removed 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice

Method

Coarsely mash the avocado flesh in a bowl with the lemon juice and add salt and pepper to taste.

Toast the bread.

Divide the mashed avocado between the toast, sprinkle with a few drops of hot red chilli sauce (to taste – go carefully!) and scatter with a little chopped fresh coriander (cilantro).
