Method

Drain the artichokes and rinse in cold running water. Drain again, squeezing out as much moisture as possible. Mix with the other ingredients, roughly mashing the artichokes. Bake, uncovered, in preheated oven at until the mixture is bubbling (about 20 minutes). Can also be served spread on crackers. Serve hot.
