  • 1 pre-baked 8-inch tart case
  • 1 lb/450 g white cheese, such as creamy Lancashire or Wensleydale

Method

Chop the cheese and grind to a smooth paste. Mix with the eggs, sugar, butter and salt until it is soft and smooth.

Fill the tart case, and bake at 180°C/350°F/gas mark 4 for about 30 minutes, until completely set.
