  • 4 small slices of white bread, toasted
  • ¼ pt/150 ml almond milk


Douse the toast in half the wine and place beneath a low-heated grill to warm through.

Bring the almond milk, sugar and salt to the boil, stir in the remaining wine, and pour over the hot toasts in a dish.
