Ingredients

  • 600 ml coconut milk
  • 300 ml water
  • 1 stalk

Method

Put the coconut milk and water in a pan and add the lemon grass and salt. Bring the mixture to the boil, add the rice and stir. Half cover the pan with the lid and simmer very gently for 20 minutes. Remove from the heat, cover tightly and let stand for 5 minutes. Discard the lemon grass and fluff up rice with a fork.
