  • 8 large chicken wings
  • 2 teaspoons garlic salt
  • 2 teaspoons

Method

  1. Wash the chicken wings and pat dry with paper towels. Cut the tip off each wing and discard. Bend each wing back to snap the joint and cut through to create two pieces. Combine the garlic salt, onion powder and pepper and rub into the wings.
  2. Fill a deep heavy-based saucepan one-third full of oil and heat to 180°C (350°F), or until a cube of bread
