  • 500 g (1 lb 2 oz) spaghetti or linguine

Method

  1. Cook the pasta in a large saucepan of rapidly boiling salted water until al dente.
  2. While the pasta is cooking, heat the oil in a large saucepan over low heat. Add the garlic and chilli and sauté for 1 minute.
  3. Add the clams and wine. Bring to the boil and cook until the wine has evaporated, stirring occasionally. Cover and cook
