  • 500 g (1 lb 2 oz) fettucine
  • 30 g


  1. Cook the pasta in a large pan of boiling salted water until al dente. Drain and return to the pan.
  2. Heat the butter and oil in a frying pan, add the spring onion and garlic and stir over low heat for 1 minute. Add the prawns and cook for 2–3 minutes, or until the flesh changes colour. Remove the prawns from the pan and set aside.
