Quick Braised Green Beans

Method

Heat 60 ml (2 fl oz/¼ cup) olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Add 1 chopped onion and 1 crushed garlic clove, and stir-fry for 7 minutes, or until the onion is soft. Add 500 g (1 lb 2 oz) green beans and fry for a few minutes, then add 400 g (14 oz) tin chopped tomatoes and simmer until the beans are tender. Season well.
