Churros is a popular breakfast snack in Spain and is usually eaten with a rich, thick hot chocolate. The batter is piped through a star-shaped nozzle, cut into lengths, and deep-fried until golden and crisp. The churros is then sprinkled with icing sugar, or a mixture of sugar and ground cinnamon or nutmeg.
