Spotted Dick

Spotted Dick is a traditional British pudding made with a sweet suet pastry crust, which is rolled out and filled (spotted) with raisins or sultanas, currants and sugar, then rolled into a log. A similar pudding, spotted dog, has raisins mixed into the pudding. Because the differences between the two are so minimal, the names are often used interchangeably.
