- Put the chocolate, cream and butter in a saucepan and stir over low heat until the chocolate has melted and is smooth. Remove from the heat and cool slightly.
- Place one split banana on each side of a flat glass dish. Place three scoops of ice cream between the banana pieces and pour the chocolate sauce over the top. Sprinkle with the chopped nuts.
