  • 300 g (10½ oz/2 cups) fresh or frozen blueberries

  1. Combine the blueberries, sugar, cinnamon stick, strips of orange and lemon zests, lemon juice and 2 tablespoons water in a saucepan over low heat. Cover and cook, stirring occasionally, for 2–3 minutes, or until the sugar has dissolved.
  2. Bring to a simmer and cook for 5 minutes, or until the blueberries are soft and the sauce has thickened slightly
