  • 425 ml/15 fl oz long grain rice
  • 2 tbsp groundnut (peanut) oil

  1. Place the rice in a heavy pan with 750ml/1½ pints of water and bring to the boll. Continue boiling for 15-20 minutes or until most of the surface liquid has evaporated.
