Ingredients

  • 2 tblsp. shortening
  • 2 medium onions, thinly sliced
  • ½ c.

Method

  • Melt shortening in skillet. Add onions; sauté until soft and clear. Add broth, beef, cheese and seasonings. Cover, simmer gently to heat.
  • Just before serving blend in sour cream.
