Ingredients

  • 2 lbs. ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 2 eggs
  • tsp. dry mustard
  • 1 tsp. chili powder
  • c. stewed tomatoes
  • 2 slices bread, broken into pieces
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • ¼ tsp. pepper
  • 4 strips bacon

Method

  • Combine all ingredients, except bacon. Pack into 8½ X 4½ X 2½ loaf pan. Place bacon strips across top. Bake in moderate oven (350°) 1 hour.
