Ingredients

  • ½ lb. ground beef
  • ½ block frozen Home-cooked Tomato Sauce (2 c.)
  • ½ c. water
  • 2 (1 lb.) cans kidney beans
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 tblsp. chili powder
  • ¼ lb. process cheese, cut in ½″ cubes (¾ c.)

Method

  • Brown ground beef in large saucepan. Add tomato sauce, water, liquid from beans, onion and chili powder.
  • Bring to boil, cover and simmer 10 minutes. Add beans; cover and simmer 10 to 15 minutes. Serve topped with cheese.
