Brown sausage in large skillet; pour off excess fat. Add green pepper, onion and celery; sauté.
Combine soup mix and boiling water in large saucepan; stir in rice. Cover and simmer 20 minutes, or until rice is tender. Add sausage mixture, salt and almonds; stir well.
Pour into greased 13 X 9 X 2″ baking dish. Bake in moderate oven (375°) 20 minutes.
