Ingredients

  • 2 tblsp. fat or salad oil
  • 1 small onion, minced
  • 1 c.

Method

  • Heat fat in saucepan. Add onion and celery; sauté until golden.
  • Add remaining ingredients, except the tongue; simmer 15 minutes.
  • Cut tongue in ½″ cubes; add to cooked sauce; heat through.
  • Serve over cooked spaghetti, noodles or potatoes.
