- Wipe broilers with clean damp cloth.
- Mix remaining ingredients.
- Spoon this sauce inside and outside of chickens; let stand for 30 minutes.
- Place chickens on spit.
- Brush with sauce, turning so chickens brown evenly (if you don’t have revolving-type broiler or spit).
- Cook about 1 hour—until leg pulls away easily.
