Yow can broil or bake this chicken in your oven or grill it over coals

Ingredients

  • 3 (1½ to 3 lb.) broiler-fryers Fruit Barbecue Sauce

Method

  • Split chicken in halves, lengthwise. Place in large bowl, skin side down. Pour heated Fruit Barbecue Sauce over chicken and rotate pieces in it to coat completely. Cover bowl and marinate in refrigerator overnight or for several hours. Turn the chicken occasionally.
  • Remove chicken from sauce. Place, skin side down, in broiler pan without rack, or in large shallow
