Ingredients

  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 2 tblsp. milk
  • 4 slices bread

Method

  • Blend together egg and milk.
  • Cut bread slices diagonally. Dip in milk-egg mixture. Brown lightly on both sides in small amount of hot fat in heavy skillet. Arrange in baking pan.
  • Cover with chicken. Pour on soup. Bake in moderate oven (375°) 20 minutes.
