Ingredients

  • 1 (17 oz.) can vacuum pack sweet potatoes, drained and mashed
  • 1 egg, slightly beaten

Method

  • Combine sweet potatoes, egg, orange peel, brown sugar and salt. Form into 12 balls by rolling heaping tablespoonfuls of the mixture in the nuts. Place on greased baking sheet. Make a large thumbprint in each ball to form a nest. Dribble with butter.
  • Bake in hot oven (425°) 20 minutes, or until brown. Place a spoonful of cranberry sauce in center of each.
