  • 2 lbs. fresh green beans
  • 1 tblsp. salt
  • 2 qts

Method

  • Snap or cut off ends of beans. Just before cooking, wash quickly under warm water. Add beans and 1 tblsp. salt to boiling water. Bring quickly to a boil and cook, uncovered, until tender-crisp, about 10 to 15 minutes, the exact time depending on age of beans. (Some cooks test f
