OréGano does something good to limas, as do cheese, bacon and garlic

Ingredients

  • 3 slices bacon
  • 1 to 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • tsp

Method

  • Cook bacon until crisp; remove and drain. Add garlic to bacon fat; cook 1 to 2 minutes. Add orégano, 2 tblsp. liquid from limas and drained limas; heat. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Just before serving, stir in crumbled bacon and cheese.
