Mild cheese heightens delicate yellow bean taste and dill enhances it


  • 4 c. wax beans, cut in 1″ pieces
  • 1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
  • 1 tblsp. milk
  • ¾ tsp. dill seeds
  • ½ tsp. salt
  • tsp. pepper
  • 2 tblsp. chopped parsley


  • Cook beans in boiling salted water until just tender; drain.
  • Stir together cream cheese, milk, dill seeds, salt and pepper. Add to drained hot beans and toss until cheese is hot. Sprinkle with parsley.
