Ingredients

  • 2 tblsp. butter or regular margarine
  • 2 tblsp. flour
  • ½.

Method

  • Melt butter in saucepan. Stir in flour and salt. Gradually add milk; cook, stirring, until thick and smooth. Add horse-radish and mix well.
  • Pour sauce over hot beets. Serve immediately.
