Ingredients

  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • 1 tblsp. fat
  • 2 c. shredded cabbage

Method

  • Sauté onion in hot fat in heavy skillet until soft and clear. Add cabbage, carrots and seasonings.
  • Pour water over vegetables. Cover, and simmer 12 minutes. Serve hot.
